Can Wasp be secretly introduced in Ant-Man?

With the Marvel Cinematic Universe now blooming with more and more characters, two Avengers movies, and an upcoming Ant-Man film the big question is; Where the hell is Wasp? The founding Avenger is nowhere to be seen. It has been noted that she was originally planned to be apart of the heroes for the first Avengers film, but taken out due to too much crowding.

The only possible character we have that could resemble the dynamic hero is Hope Van Dyne played by Evangeline Lily. It is very noticeable that Hope is spotting the classic Wasp hairstyle. Lily has revealed months ago that Janet Van Dyne was a MCU hero after all while discussing more about the role and the film. That makes us all wonder if we will get to watch Janet fighting alongside Hank Pym in flashbacks? Could we potentially see the two join the cast of a future season of Agent Carter? We do know that Agent Carter lives for a very long time and she will for a fact be making an appearance in Ant-Man. Could this be a huge connection? No one would be able to resist seeing an action sequence of these three heroes all kicking butt together.

Where is Janet in the present? A while ago it was revealed that there had been a "tragic accident" between Pym and his wife. A lot of people including myself presumed that she could now be deceased, however, what if this accident instead results into a divorce. If that is the case then what is she up to? If she did pass away is it possible that Marvel could bring the hero back from the dead? Characters drop like flies and always return in the comics (including the Wasp herself who was trapped in another dimension while presumed dead) so it wouldn't be too crazy to throw this option on the table.

Take into consideration that if Hank Pym is passing the mantle of Ant-Man to Scott Lang could this as well mean that the mantle of The Wasp could be passed to their daughter Hope? She is very well trained in fighting as she is teaching Lang how to throw a punch so we could easily see her putting on a costume. Hopefully Marvel doesn't take all these options and get a fly swatter to smack them away. It would absolutely be an insult to the fantastic character if there is no sign of her existing in the MCU and having a lasting presence.

The instrumental ways of incorporating Monica Rambeau into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It has been noticed for a while that Marvel is heavily lacking in important female characters for their cinematic universe. Lately, we have been seeing a rise in female characters with Agent Carter being currently in production for a second season, Mockingbird and other ladies on Agents of Shield, Scarlet Witch being added to the roster of the Avengers, the announcement of the Captain Marvel movie, and even Jessica Jones getting her own Netflix series that'll air later this year.

With these wonderful additions this makes it now the perfect time to bring in Monica Rambeau. It is a fact that there aren't really any black women who exist in the cinematic universe so far, and we need to change that very quickly.

In the comics she held the mantle of Captain Marvel and even lead the Avengers for a good amount of time. Even though it has been confirmed that Carol Danvers will be the lead of the Captain Marvel movie, why can't Marvel still introduce her in the film? They could have her train Carol, or still be an influential character in the movie. What if they show her as a previous hero in flashbacks and have her pass the mantle to Carol like with what Marvel is going to do with Hank Pym and Scott Lang in Ant-Man. They wouldn't need to age that much either she could still be roughly the same age as Carol. There are many different roles she could have with aiding Carol.

IF Rambeau were to be introduced in that film this could open up the doors of many ways she could play other roles within the Universe. They could very well add her to the list of heroes that will be putting up a fight against Thanos in Infinity Wars. They are going to need all the help they can get. Maybe we could eventually see Rambeau leading her own team of Avengers someday.

If they don't plan on going that route they could have Monica lead her own Nextwave team as a Netflix original. Daredevil is doing profoundly way better than everyone expected, and after the New Defenders mini series airs people will want another superhero team show to be on Netflix. They only questionable character for them to add to the show would be Boom Boom with her being a Mutant that is primarily involved in x-men related titles, and most likely owned by Fox.

If Marvel isn't able to obtain the rights of Boom Boom there is the option of having a Marvel Divas Netflix show.

Hellcat will be one of the main characters in Jessica Jones, and there hasn't been any word as to if she would join the main cast of heroes of the New Defenders Mini Series with her being a member of the team in the comics. Marvel now shares the rights of Black Cat and Firestar with Sony. All four characters are available for use making the possibilities of this show more likely.

With all of the Spider-Man movies that have existed there hasn't been a Black Cat on screen. They did have Felicia Hardy play a minor role in the Amazing Spider-Man 2, however, she had never received the chance to wear the costume. Marvel now has the advantage of bringing Black Cat to life. Firestar being another Avenger could very well win the hearts of many fans as she for a time struggles with Cancer. It is in fact a central plot line for the Marvel Divas mini series.

Monica will certainly be a fantastic character to join the ranks of the leading heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

She Hulk, iconic female Avenger, who needs a shot at the MCU.

From my first post on this site you might have seen me discussing the reasons behind why I think She-Hulk deserves to be brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Well, here are a few ideas as to HOW Marvel could easily accomplish this.

It's been a little while since there has been an Incredible Hulk movie. The main reason is that Marvel has for the time being limited themselves to two movies per year for the most part, and have other movies they would rather focus on. Whenever they do plan to make another Hulk film they would really need to do something to capture the Audience's eyes, and make this movie one of that everyone will actually enjoy. Instead of focusing on a romance like the past few films have, why not develop the relationship between him and his cousin? This movie could instead primarily focus on the origin of She Hulk. Think of it like Captain America: Winter Solider, but with Hulks. hmm Hulk: She Hulk doesn't have much of good ring to it.

Another idea they could play with, which would be less preferred but more likely and faster is to first have her appear as a Lawyer on either Agents of Shield or Netflix's Daredevil. Sooner or later Jennifer will have share a courtroom with Matt Murdock. It would be a nice twist to Agents of Shield if they did a Hulk storyline for a few episodes. As much as we are enjoying the whole Hydra and fall of Shield concept it's going to get a little dried out. Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and even Lady Sif have made appearances in the show so it wouldn't be too out of the blue to see Bruce Banner.

10 Characters I would like to see introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Please take note that I'm going to be not including characters like Doctor Strange, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones since they have already been confirmed to appear very soon.

1.

Spider Woman (Jessica Drew)

With Hydra now playing a very large role in the MCU it would be extremely easy for them to introduce her with her origin heavily being apart of Hydra. I understand people who are unaware of the character might think of her as a Spiderman knockoff, but literally with Hydra being to prevelant in what's going on it would be very easy to show that she completely her own character, and the only think she has in common with Spidey is the name pretty much.

2.

Mantis

I understand that Guardians of the Galaxy has yet to even be released, however, there has been news of Marvel even having a sequel planned. Seeing as how the Primadonna is an important member of that team she even has been apart of the Avengers. She has a wide variety of powers, and with the crazy threats the Avengers and Guardians are going to have to deal with they are going to need someone like her. It would even add more of a diversity since she is also Asian. She would be a very good choice for Marvel to choose.

3.

Captain Marvel

I'm honestly not really sure if it's been like 100% confirmed for her to get a movie or not yet. I know they've been searching for a hell of a long time to find an actress suitable to play a Carol so we all do know for sure sooner or later Marvel will bring her in. I would certainly not be shocked if Marvel one day made her the new "face" of Marvel. She is one of Marvel's leading ladies that needs to be introduced in the movies as soon as possible. Also, with her being a character in the series "Alias" she could make an appearance in Jessica Jones' show.

 4.

She Hulk

Jennifer is way more of a better Avenger than the Hulk. If you disagree with me then look at the fact that no group ever were forced to send her ass off of the planet for their own safety. With her for the most part being able to control her "hulk" form she would be more of a stable person to have. She could even play a role in the upcoming Netflix Daredevil series since they are both Lawyers. Certainly, if they ever plan on making another Hulk movie the story line of Jennifer becoming She Hulk would certainly be a good idea. (I would still like a Planet Hulk movie though, hmm maybe after?)

5.

Nova

One of the sexist space costumes to date. I know that the Nova Corps will be making an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy, but nah to Nova sadly, but we could surely expect to see him soon though. He would make an excellent addition to the cosmic side of the MCU.

6.

Spitfire and Union Jack

The reason I put them together is because it would not make sense to really introduce one without the other. With Marvel's Agent Carter being announced it would be literally the perfect chance for them to make an appearance in this show. I suppose Union Jack would be like the first LGBT character in the MCU, right? (correct me if i'm wrong) and we could totally see the transformation of Spitfire being the amazing hero to the fall of becoming a vampire (Which makes her more badass. We all loved that moment of her in Skrull Invasion when she ripped that Skrull's throat out with her teeth. fun times!)

7.

 Firestar

People already do know about Angelica from the ancient Spiderman cartoon so it wouldn't be too random to through her in. Even though she is a mutant (that for a minute was trained under Emma Frost, and is now teaching at The Jean Grey Institute). I wonder if she can escape the blackhole of Fox like Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver managed to. I feel she would be a very good role model for cancer patients in the world since she is literally a survivor of cancer, and she also faces the hell of being a college student. People could relate to her easily.

8.

Wasp!!

She was literally planned to be in the Avengers movie but they took her out since she would have probably had the same amount of screen time as Hawkeye, which, is barely none. I am curious if the South Korean actress Kim Soo-Hyun in Age of Ulton will be playing her. I mean, they are filming in South Korea so the character will be important. Also, we need do kind of need the founding Avenger to be introduced like.. really soon. Honestly, with Chris Evan's contract soon ending, and with Robert Downey Jr losing interest in Iron Man I could for sure see Wasp taking a leadership role of the Avengers.

9.

Tigra

One day down the line Marvel will find themselves needing to introduce more younger superheroes, and hey luckily for them they'll have Tigra around to teach these kids. In both Avengers Initiative and Avengers Academy (both very well done titles) she has proved to be a wonderful instructor. You can't really expect most of the current heroes to want to sit around with kids all day? I'm a little nervous at how people would respond to the character before seeing what she is capable of because of the way her costume is just a bikini. Sadly, a lot of people who talk about Scarlet Johanson's performance as Black Widow focuses on her "looks" or mainly how tight the costume is for her ass. A lot of sexist comments are going to be thrown at this character, however, with Marvel frankly not giving a fuck half of the time they should go ahead and introduce her, and prove the "sexy" stereotype wrong. If done correctly, bigots will notice there is more to someone than just their body image.

10.

Cloak and Dagger

Again, with the duo, but hey they are a team. I could certainly see them being introduced very easily in either Agents of Shield or the Runaways movie (whenever they decide to put that project into motion again.) With shows that focused heavily on drugs like Weeds and Breaking Bad and with the huge popularity of superheroes their origin will draw viewers in since Drugs kind of have a strong role in their story. A Cloak and Dagger television show would be wonderful. Maybe if the four upcoming Netflix shows are successful (which they will be) that can inspire Netflix to want to craft this idea into a show?
